Track-Bed Rolls can be laid in one continuous section or cut to fit any area. For tight curves, separate Track-Bed at center seam. Lay both sections separately butting them snugly in the middle. 12" x 24" Track-Bed Super Sheets make great underlayment for multi-track yards, switches, loading areas and sidings.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Spread a layer of Foam Tack Glue (ST1444) on the Plaster Cloth surface where the Track-Bed will be laid (Fig. 1).
2. Lay Track-Bed down and pin in place with Foam Nails (ST1432) until glue dries (about 1 hour). Remove nails. Note: To attach Track-Bed to surfaces other than Plaster Cloth, apply Foam Tack Glue to both layout surface and bottom of Track-Bed. Allow glue to become “tacky” (about 5 minutes) and press Track-Bed to surface (Fig. 2). Pin down if necessary.
3. To attach track, spread a layer of Foam Tack Glue over Track-Bed surface and install track, pinning in place with Foam Nails (Fig. 3).
4. Apply Woodland Scenics Ballast according to directions on the package.
TIP: For a more secure adhesion, use 120 grit sandpaper, and sand the top and bottom of the Track-Bed before adhering it to the layout and installing the track.
