WHY DO I NEED A PASSWORDS:
In order to avoid any unauthorized access of your account, a password is required to ensure that no other party is able to access your account. Hence, please keep your password safe and DO NOT disclose to others.

PRIVACY:
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties. The information you give us is confidential, and will not be sold or given to any individual or company or organization. Other companies say the above, but also say "occasionally share our customer mailing list with trusted and approved high-quality companies". We won't at any price, we don't like unsolicited mail ourselves. This is our simple promise to you.

CREDIT CARD ORDERS:
Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express as payment. When using your credit card, please provide your credit card billing address if different from the shipping address and daytime/nighttime phone numbers. If the billing address does not match that which is on file at the financial institution or if authorization is not given for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the order without notification.

SHIPPING to an ALTERNATE ADDRESS:
If you are shipping to an address other than your credit card billing address, contact your credit card company and ask them to list the address as an alternate address on your account. We cannot ship to an address that the credit card company does not have on file for your credit card.
Credit card companies are very willing to offer this service to you and it could mean less delays when placing your orders with Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop and other companies. Please note that we cannot work out credit card problems with the financial institution; you must settle problems with them and reorder once the problem is resolved.

COD ORDERS:
Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop does not accept COD orders.

OUR PERSONAL CHECK POLICY :
While we attempt to bank-approve personal checks for immediate shipment, this may not always be possible and we may hold your order for 10-12 business days. To ensure that your order is shipped as quickly as possible, please send a money order, certified check or use your credit card. Business checks are treated as regular personal checks. Customers whose checks are returned to us because of non-sufficient funds will be charged $25.00 for handling in addition to the amount of the check. If it becomes necessary for us to use an attorney or collection agency, you will be responsible for all collection fees.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop is now accepting orders for shipments to limited country's outside the continental U.S., shipping cost will be added to the order once the order is received and is determined by weight and size.
We will only accept orders using Paypal for our first time customers outside the US and then once established we will accept credits cards.
To place orders for shipments outside the U.S., you need to do the following:
Shipping/Billing address must be the same as your home address and inserted in the Billing area.
You then need to use our address in the "Ship to' area:

We will correct the total, adding the correct shipping charges and delete the sales tax and ship to your home address.
We will send you an email for you to confirm the shipping charge and new total, we must have confirmation from you before we will release the order, the email will be sent within the first 24 hours.

RETURNING MERCHANDISE:
We will accept merchandise for return that was purchased from Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop within 30 days of receipt. There is no restocking fee for qualified returns, returns that are unqualified will be charged a 20% restocking fee. The merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. Mounting and running fuel through a model engine, installing radio parts in a model, cutting up balsa sheets in kits, installing software or discarding the packing material are some examples of what constitutes used merchandise. Tampering with the item in any way will void ours and the manufactures warranty. We do not accept returns via COD or billed to Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop in any way. Please call or email with returns to receive a return authorization number.
Shipping charges are not refundable.

DEFECTIVE RETURNS:
If the item you wish to return is inoperable, but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. The instructions on how to handle this type of return will vary, since some manufacturers insist on handling defects directly. Defective merchandise may be returned to us as long as it is in new and unused condition. Used, defective merchandise should be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. Manufacturer defects found after the product has been used revert to the manufacturer's warranty and they will handle any problems for you directly. If you can determine that a product is defective before using it, we may be able to accept it back for exchange or refund; however, we suggest that you call before taking any action.

DAMAGED RETURNS:
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please call immediately. Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away! If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return. Shipping charges are not refundable.

LIMITS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
We accept no responsibility for crash damage and/or loss of kits, engines, accessories, etc. incurred during operation of a radio-controlled model. In most cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine whether crash damage was actually due to radio equipment failure or to operator error. Also, we cannot be held responsible for any purchased components that are incorporated into radio systems or problems caused by incompatibility between radio components, parts, and repairs not completed by our service center, etc.

PRICE AND/OR DESCRIPTION CHANGES:
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop publications are subject to change. Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, Bill and Walt's Hobby Shop reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion.

SHIPPING:
Shipping charges are based on shipments to any of the 50 states, outside the 50 states we will E-mail you with the new shipping total and the new total of your bill. We ship most orders by US Postal Service and UPS for larger orders but reserve the right to ship the most ecomonical way. Orders are shipped in 1 to 5 business days.
